Teatro “Filippo Marchetti”

The theatre was designed in a purist style and, reflecting this trend, simply decorated by Domenichini and Migliari. The horseshoe-shaped stalls are surrounded by four tiers of boxes and gallery. Decorations were restored in 1872 by painters Filippo Serafini and Giuseppe Rinaldi and, in the same year, the fourth tier of boxes was transformed into a gallery. This theatre was named after musician Filippo Marchetti in 1905. In the same year decorations were again renovated by Coevallos (who was a stucco worker) and Francesco Ferranti (painter).
